On My Own!

So did everyone have a nice holiday season? I can’t believe it is over already. It passed just as quickly as it came! It definitely didn’t feel like Christmas for me being in South Florida. It is one of the only times I miss the snow and cold weather. Just doesn’t feel the same as being up north. I also missed being with my family up there. But, I was working at the club a lot, so time did fly by.
A couple weeks ago, I moved into a new apartment. Time for me to experience living on my own. So far, I am enjoying it. It’s odd coming home and not having anyone to talk to or roommates to clown around with. I have never lived by myself so it is going to be an adjustment. But, there are some perks to having your own place. You can leave the place messy and not have to worry about respecting some other person’s space because it is all yours, you don’t have to worry about keeping it quiet if you feel like staying up late, and you can watch what you want on television! But again, it has only been over a week since I moved in, all of this could change in about a month.
Work is becoming very busy. Every year around this time after the holidays, the golf courses erupt with play and with people. I think it’s because everyone is tired of the cold weather. So once it hits January, they’ve had enough of it! I don’t mind, keeps me busy and I always have people to play golf with. The golf game is still on hiatus for a little while. It’s tough to keep the rhythm only playing a couple times a week. I haven’t been practicing too much on the range. Just enjoying spending time with my friends on the course. And when i finally hit good shots, makes me feel really good since I haven’t played in a while.
